A saved view remembers the filters, search, sorting and layout of a lead or deal page under a name. The filters you need every morning are then one click away. Views are available on Open leads ↗, All leads ↗, Open deals ↗ and All deals ↗.

Save as view
- Set the filters, search and sorting you need. How that works is explained in Filtering leads and deals.
- Choose the layout, List or Kanban.
- Open the panel with Filter and click Save as view at the top.
- Enter a name and press Enter. Escape cancels.
You then see View “{name}” saved. and the new view is active. The name can be 1 to 60 characters long and must be unique, regardless of upper and lower case.
You can also save a view without filters, for example to keep a particular sorting. The note This view has no filters, no search and the default sorting. points that out.
Opening a view
Click the page title at the top left, for example All leads. In the dropdown, below Open leads and All leads (for deals Open deals and All deals), your views are listed in the section My views. One click opens the view with all saved settings, including the saved layout. A view saved in Kanban therefore opens in Kanban, even if you are in the list right now.
The open view has a check mark in the dropdown. The page title itself stays the same.
Renaming and deleting
Next to each view in the dropdown there is a pencil. It opens a small editor right in the dropdown:
- Rename: change the name and confirm with Enter.
- Delete: after the question Really delete view “{name}”? you remove the view with Yes, delete.
Escape only closes the editor, the dropdown stays open.
Saving changes
If you change a filter, the search, the sorting or the layout in an open view, two buttons appear at the top of the panel:
- Save changes overwrites the view with the new state.
- Save as new view creates a copy under a new name, and the old view stays as it was.
If the view would end up without any filters, inDeal asks first: The view would have no filters afterwards. Save anyway?
Changing the order
New views appear at the bottom of the list. Without a custom order they are sorted by creation date. To reorder:
- With the mouse: drag the view by the handle to the left of its name. Clicking the name still opens the view.
- On a phone: press and hold the handle briefly, then drag.
- With the keyboard: tab to the handle, pick the view up with the space bar, move it with arrow up or down and drop it with Enter. Escape cancels.
The new order applies immediately and survives a reload. If it could not be saved, it jumps back and you see The order was not saved and has been reset.
Open and All
Open pages and All pages have separate lists. A view saved on Open leads only appears there, a view saved on All leads only appears there. If you need the same filters on the other page, save them there as a separate view. It needs a different name, because names are unique across both lists.
Good to know
- Views are private. Only you see your views, colleagues in the same account do not. To share a selection, send them the link via Copy link.
- At most 20 per area. You can save up to 20 views for leads and 20 for deals, Open and All counted together. Once you reach the limit, delete a view before creating a new one.
- Periods stay relative. A filter like "Follow-up: überfällig" (overdue) or "Erstellt am: Letzte 7 Tage" (created in the last 7 days) counts from the current day every time you open the view. Tomorrow the view shows the leads that are overdue by then.
- Hidden fields. If an admin hides a custom field that a view filters on, the view still opens. That filter drops out and a note appears at the top of the panel. If the admin restores the field, the filter applies again. If you save changes before that, the filter is removed for good.
- Drilldowns. Lists from a drilldown, for example from a campaign, cannot be saved as a view.
