When campaign numbers are missing

Not every campaign shows every value. Usually that is not a fault but deliberate restraint: inDeal would rather show nothing than invent a number. This article sorts the cases.

Contents

A dash with the note sync pending

If the progress line is replaced by a dash with the note sync pending and the bar stays empty, this campaign has never been synced with the connected service.

That affects every value coming from there: the progress, the pool marker and Acceptance. The values inDeal calculates from your own leads are still shown: Reply, Positive and Meetings.

The sync runs by itself. If the state persists for several days, check the connection in Setup under Integrations ↗.

A dash with the note no data

Hover over a dash and no data appears. That means the basis is missing.

  • Under Acceptance, the number of requests sent is missing because no sync has happened yet.
  • Under Reply, the number of messages sent is missing for the same reason.

Once the first sync has run, the percentages appear.

A dash without a note

If a dash sits there and the pointer shows two numbers like "0 / 0" instead, the basis is known but zero. Nobody has been messaged yet. A percentage would not be wrong here, it would be meaningless - hence the dash.

No pool marker

If the marker at the top right is missing entirely, inDeal has no information about the supply. That too follows from the missing sync. A statement like Pool empty without data would be a claim, not information.

start unknown

If the progress line ends with start unknown, the time of the first contact was not recorded. Everything else about the campaign is still correct.

ongoing instead of a time remaining

If the right-hand side reads ongoing instead of a number of days, no end date is stored, or it is already in the past. The end date comes from the connected service and cannot be set in inDeal.

Meetings stays at zero

The most common case, and it usually has nothing to do with the connection. Meetings counts only leads on Discovery done. As long as leads are not moved to that stage after the conversation, the value stays at zero - no matter how many meetings actually took place.

Check that first before you suspect a fault.

Positive stays at zero

Positive comes from the Sentiment on your leads. If nothing is set there, the value stays at zero. Set the sentiment on the leads that replied and the number fills up.

The campaign is missing entirely

If a campaign does not appear at all:

  1. Check both sections. Completed campaigns sit under Completed, not under Active.
  2. Check whether it exists at the source. inDeal does not create campaigns.
  3. Check the connection in Setup under Integrations.
