What inDeal does for you

inDeal brings your sales work together in one place, from a contact's first reaction to the closed deal. Instead of spreadsheets, sticky notes and your inbox, you work in four areas that build on each other. How a contact travels through inDeal 1. A contact reacts to your outreach and becomes a lead in inDeal. 2. You qualify the lead and book a meeting. 3. After the meeting you turn the lead into a deal. 4. The deal runs through offer and closing until it is Won or Lost. Each of those steps has a fixed home: - Campaigns ↗ shows where your contacts came from and how many reacted. - Leads is your work list up to the meeting. Every lead sits on a stage, from Qualify through Set discovery and Discovery scheduled to Discovery done. - Pipeline takes over from there. A deal sits on Send offer, Closing, Won or Lost. - Home ↗ sums up what is due today and how the past weeks have developed. What you get out of it Every morning you see which leads are overdue and which are due today. No contact slips away because a reminder got buried in a spreadsheet. And how much volume sits in your pipeline is a number, not a gut feeling. What inDeal is not inDeal does not replace your inbox or your calendar. It records what happened with a contact and what should happen next. You keep writing and calling wherever you do that today. Signing in and setting up your account

inDeal has no password. You sign in with a link we email you. The inDeal sign-in screen Contents - Signing in - If no email arrives - If the link has expired - The first time you sign in - Signing out - Next Signing in 1. Open the sign-in page. 2. Under Email, enter the address your account was created with. 3. Click Send Magic Link. 4. Open the email and follow the link. 5. Confirm in the browser with Confirm sign-in. The same message appears after every submission, whether or not an account exists for that address. That is deliberate: it means nobody can find out from the outside who has an inDeal account. If no email arrives - Check your spam folder. - Check the spelling. The link only goes to the exact address your account was created with. - Request a new link. Every new link invalidates the previous one. If nothing arrives after that, ask the person who invited you, or contact support: Getting help and support. If the link has expired A sign-in link is short-lived and works only once. Once it is used up you will see Link expired or already used. Click Back to login and request a new one. The first time you sign in On your very first sign-in, inDeal asks for your name under Welcome to inDeal! That name appears to your colleagues on the leads and deals assigned to you. Enter it under Your name and confirm with Continue. If you are setting the account up for your company, the field Company name appears as well. Finish with Let's go. You see this once. Later you change both in Setup under Personal profile ↗. Signing out Click your company name at the bottom left, then Sign out. Next - How inDeal is structured - Your first week with inDeal

inDeal has three parts: the sidebar on the left, the top bar, and the work area between them. Once you know those three places, everything else follows. Contents - The sidebar - Bottom left: your account and your company - The top bar - Setup - Not everyone sees the same thing - Next The sidebar The sidebar with its four areas The sidebar holds four areas, always in this order: - Home ↗ - what is due today and how the past weeks have developed. - Leads - your work list up to the meeting, with the views Open leads ↗ and All leads ↗. - Pipeline - your deals, with the views Open deals ↗ and All deals ↗. - Campaigns ↗ - where your contacts came from and how many reacted. A number can appear next to Leads and Pipeline. It counts what is overdue or due today. No number means nothing in that area is urgent. The icon at the top right of the sidebar switches between Collapse and Expand. Collapsed, only the icons remain and the work area gets wider. Once you have opened leads, Recently opened appears below with your latest records. That list only exists in the expanded state. Bottom left: your account and your company Your company name sits at the foot of the sidebar. Setup is not in the sidebar - it lives behind that company name. One click opens a menu with three entries: - Profile settings - Setup ↗ - Sign out The first two lead to the same place. Below them you also find your balance in credits, the button Invite team members, and Install Chrome plugin ↗. The top bar Three things sit up there: - The search field Search …. It searches Leads and Pipeline at the same time. - The plus button. It opens New lead so you can add a contact by hand. - The question mark. It opens the help menu. The open help menu More on that under Getting help and support. Setup The Setup area with its sub-navigation Setup holds your own details and your company's settings. The sub-navigation on the left leads to Personal profile ↗, Company, Performance & conversion ↗, Lead import ↗, Team, Workflows ↗, Integrations ↗, Extension, Plans & Billing ↗, Trash and Legal ↗, among others. Not everyone sees the same thing inDeal has two roles: - Admin - full access to all records, import, mass updates, setup and team. - Sales - sees and edits only their own leads. No import, no deleting, no mass updates, no setup. With the Sales role, Setup shows only Personal profile, Extension, Plans & Billing and Legal. The other entries are not missing by accident, they belong to the Admin role. Whoever set up your account can tell you which role you have. Your first week with inDeal

This order has worked well for the first few days. It costs about an hour, spread across the week. Contents - Day 1 - check your account - Day 1 - read Home - Day 2 - work your first leads - Day 3 - follow up on meetings - Day 4 - run your first deal - Day 5 - back to Home - Three habits that make the difference - Next Day 1 - check your account 1. Click your company name at the bottom left and choose Setup ↗. 2. Under Personal profile ↗, check that your name is right. It appears on every lead and deal assigned to you. 3. Check Language and Time zone. The time zone decides when a date counts as overdue. Day 1 - read Home Open Home ↗. Five metrics sit at the top: Leads overdue, Leads due today, Leads today, Pipeline value and Replies. Below them, Weekly trends · Last 4 weeks shows how leads, meetings, deals and revenue have developed. Further down sits Contact. That is your daily list: overdue leads first, then the ones due today, then the new ones. Day 2 - work your first leads 1. Open Leads and stay in the Open leads ↗ view. 2. Open the topmost lead. 3. Record what you did and set a next step with a date. 4. Move the stage on as soon as it no longer fits: from Qualify through Set discovery to Discovery scheduled. Work the list from top to bottom. Whatever you leave today is back at the top tomorrow. Day 3 - follow up on meetings After a meeting, set the lead to Discovery done. If the meeting fell through, use Discovery failed - that keeps the lead in your work list instead of letting it disappear quietly. If nothing comes of it, set Lead lost with a reason. Day 4 - run your first deal Once a lead sits on Discovery done, its detail page shows the Deal phase section with the button Create offer. One click creates the deal and opens it. From then on, Open deal takes you straight back there. The pipeline in the Kanban view The four columns are Send offer, Closing, Won and Lost. Above the board you see how many deals are open and how much Open volume they hold. Drag a deal into the next column as soon as something has moved. Day 5 - back to Home Open Home again and compare with Monday. If Leads overdue has come down and Deals / week shows something, the week worked. Three habits that make the difference - Set a next step with a date on every lead you touch. Without a date it never resurfaces on its own. - Start the day on Home under Contact, not in the full list. - Move stages on immediately. A wrong stage distorts every number on Home. Getting help and support

Help is one click away from any view: the question mark at the top right. The open help menu with Feedback & Support and Onboarding video Contents - Opening the help menu - Feedback & Support - Onboarding video - What makes a request faster - Worth checking first - Legal Opening the help menu 1. Click the question mark at the top right, labelled Help. 2. Pick one of the two entries. Feedback & Support Feedback & Support opens a window where you can write directly. Your message reaches our team and the reply appears in the same window. You do not have to sign in again. Right after the click it says Loading. If you see Couldn't load - please click again instead, click the entry once more. As a rule it is a brief connection hiccup. Onboarding video Onboarding video opens the short introduction from your first sign-in. You can watch it again whenever you like. What makes a request faster Tell us: 1. What you were trying to do. 2. What happened instead, word for word if possible. 3. Which area you were in: Home ↗, Leads, Pipeline, Campaigns or Setup ↗. 4. The name of the lead or deal involved, if it is about a single record. With those four details we can usually reproduce the case without asking back. Worth checking first Some cases resolve themselves without a request: - A menu entry is missing. You most likely have the Sales role. Which entries belong to it is in How inDeal is structured. - The sign-in link does not work. Request a new one, see Signing in and setting up your account. - A lead has disappeared. Check whether you are in Open leads ↗ rather than All leads ↗. Legal You find the imprint, the privacy policy and the list of subprocessors in Setup under Legal ↗.
